Just curious . . .how many bird feeders do you have in your yard right now?

I've asked for an oriole feeder for my birthday (among a few other things ), and I was interested to find that the recipe for their nectar isn't that much different, and certainly no more difficult, than hummingbird nectar. For orioles you just make a 6:1 nectar, instead of the 4:1 that you make for the hummingbirds. ...and for whoever was feeling guilty about the jelly last year, I did see that Doctors Foster and Smith carries a bird jelly

I have a hummingbird feeder I've been meaning to put out for almost five years but never get around to it.

From my viewpoint they are the most beautiful, territorial, unique, aggressive, small cute, hostile to others, consistent feeder birds ...once they take to your feeder.

I can't wait for the day I have a place where I can set up bird feeders and blinds to catch photos of unsuspecting wildlife. It's definitely on the to-do for my future home.

For anyone thinking of investing in an oriole feeder, I suggest getting one with a roof. Spring rains, like the ones we've had for a week, will render your grape jelly worthless in no time. The extra money you spend for the covered feeder will be made up for in not wasting so much jelly.

I'm just curious, where would you hang your bird feeders(the ordinary ones) when your HOA is basically against it?
I don't know why they don't like it with the bird feeders, but I'll do it anyway.
Maybe somewhere on my deck.
Actually I have 4 hummingbird feeders and no one is complaining about it. So I'm thinking to add a few more feeders this winter to attract some of the local birds.
