Sorry. Mushrooms are definitely not my forte. About the only wild mushroom that I can positively identify is puffball! Not really, but I don't know many. It wasn't an area that we spent much time on in field botany, because it is such a complex study. I'm trying to find a site with a photo ID guide...

I'm not usually a big 'mushroom person' but took these three different growths when out in IL this past weekend....the last was massive....I've never seen a cluster that large.....took the shots with my hand and foot to add perspective....

My cousin got me "hooked" on shooting mushrooms....they are very unique and interesting to shoot. Love the angle on the first one as it extends...very nice captures~Eddiebauer wrote:I photograph mushrooms everytime I see them. Especially if the light is right.
