Sorry. Mushrooms are definitely not my forte. About the only wild mushroom that I can positively identify is puffball! :yum: Not really, but I don't know many. It wasn't an area that we spent much time on in field botany, because it is such a complex study. I'm trying to find a site with a photo ID guide...

I'm not usually a big 'mushroom person' but took these three different growths when out in IL this past weekend....the last was massive....I've never seen a cluster that large.....took the shots with my hand and foot to add perspective....

I photograph mushrooms everytime I see them. Especially if the light is right. Somehow I am actracted to them, probably becasue I know they don't last that long.

My cousin got me "hooked" :) on shooting mushrooms....they are very unique and interesting to shoot. Love the angle on the first one as it extends...very nice captures~
