The same guy who taught Mike Rowe recently had his photo in Field & Stream. I did a search there and came up with a series of photos of him. I started in the middle of the series (because of the impressive photo), but just click above the photo to browse: http://www.fieldandstream.com/fieldstre ... _5,00.html Be sure to check out his tattoo.

What do I need to buy/have/do?
Two of my really good friends are NYS registered fishing guides:
* Carl Coleman http://colemansflyshop.com
* Jay Peck http://jaypeckguides.com

This time of year they fish mostly in Spring Brook or Oatka Creek for smaller (10-12") Brown and Brook trout, but in the fall they guide at the Salmon River (Altmar/Pulaski), Oak Orchard River (Waterport) and Sandy Creek (Hamlin) for monster Salmon, Brown Trout and Steelhead.

Give Jay or Carl a call. They'll get you into the fish and take care of everything for you, including gear (waders, rods, flies). Not sure what they charge, but I'm sure it's reasonable. Tell them I sent you.

We've gotta get Matt out there. The Salmon and Big Browns start running soon!
