I am hoping someone can give me info on Taughannock Falls , just curious if there is a good flow of water going over the falls, planning on taking a trip out that way and want to photograph the falls. Also what is the best time to photograph this water falls morning or evening? any info would be appreciated.

It's probably going to be the best weekend for it, thought certainly not as good as spring. I was there 2 weeks ago and it was not full enough for good photography. But it has been pretty damp across the finger lakes this week. Hopefully it'll keep up enough to leave the ground saturated.

Thank Matt! Not sure if it sounds promising enough to make a 4 hour drive. I'll have to watch the weather in that area, hopfully the rain continues for awhile.

wouldn't hurt to give them a quick call before you head out, explain your purpose and see if they know. (607) 387-6739
I know the ranger does a morning inspection of the trails each day.
