Since I have not done any creek walking in my waterfall adventures to this point I thought I would ask what type of footwear you guys use for these.

I have a pair of Teva sandals which I love. They have great traction for walking on slippery rocks. Before I bought those I used to just wear an old pair of sneakers but these are way better. There's nothing like the feeling of cold creekwater rushing over your feet. Well, that depends on the time of year I guess!
What's not fun though is if there's a bit of a bushwack through brush to get to the creek and burrs and sharp weeds happen to poke and scratch at my feet.

If you can find them on amazon and recommend them I'll add them to the NYFalls.com store. I could add walking sticks and backpacks too.
I'm hoping the store will be built on recommended stuff from these forums rather than stuff I just research.

Keen Sandals:
I've had these the past year and a half. Love them - great treads, plus the toe guard has saved my feet about a thousand times on river walks with large snagged boulders:

those looks slick. Do you think it's something I should add to the store?
