It reminded me a great deal of my trip to the grand canyon - people spend hours or days driving there and everywhere you look there are signs of boredom and indifference. To each his own, but I just can't imagine what my life would be like if a sight like this meant nothing. After a brutal work week this sure put things in perspective - its good to be alive.
Yeah every time we got for a walk, people plow right past us and don't seem to do what the trail was meant for. To go slow and enjoy nature. Enjoy life. They want to walk, turn around and leave again without actually experiencing it.
What is life but experiences?

Had the pleasure of visiting the upper falls for the first time.

I think that upper falls is really impressive in its own right. I often forget about it because of what's about 1/4 mile downstream.

On my last 2 visits I decided to take photos of the main falls from a different location:
The first was taken 5/1, and the second 6/5
