I love Ithaca Falls - one of the easiest to photograph - and one of the more massive in the area....it reminds me of that waterfalls (I can't remember the name) that is along Seneca Lake on the way to Watkins Glen.....I got an especially nice shot when the trout were running and people were fishing in its' shadow..

And an older picture from the spring when the forget me nots bloom makes for an interesting composition:

I find it a tough one to photograph... well tough if you don't want people in the shot. it's a very popular falls.
In that first shot you make it look a fraction of its actual size.
Great perspective on the second shot.

I see it says on the Ithaca Falls page, you plan on creating a Fall Creek page. I'll be looking forward to this.

A coworker just got her truck broken into and her entire bag full of new laptop, schoolwork, XM radio, checks, etc was taken, right inside the parking garage.

What kind of crime village is this place?

I wouldn't steal XM radios if they were lying around on the streets.

And I have no idea what it has to do with Ithaca Falls anyway. Was she parked at the falls?

No different than any other city; you have to be aware of the visibility/security where you park. Just because it's a garage doesn't mean that it's safe. The Seneca St. garage for instance, was (maybe it's improved) very poorly lit. I haven't used that garage in years because it gave me the creeps. I use the Green St. garage or metered parking. It would be nearly impossible for someone to break into a car in the Green St. garage without being seen.
