I got a Barnes & Noble gift card for Christmas so today I bought the Images of America Letchworth State Park book. I've only thumbed through it so far but it's really interesting. Lots of great historical photographs.

I talked with David briefly at the Corn Hill Arts Fest this past summer and bought this book.
I also have his Letchworth book, it's nice to have someone publishing photo books of NY outdoors.
He shoots all with film (it's pretty apparent, actually).

Love those photos. I have to wait until next fall at this point I got there to late in the day and the light was just causing havoc so I had to ditch most of my water shots.

... a good think that these plants would be used as a backup rather than the primary use of power if you ask me. It's a start. We take 20a often to Letchworth, Stony Brook and to the Naples area. The region seems pretty divided on the issue. Lots of front lawn signs for and against the wind turbines.
